McDonald's is bringing Caesar back to its menu on July 21 with four limited-time additions at participating restaurants. The new lineup includes a Bacon Caesar McCrispy, a Caesar Snack Wrap and McCrispy Strips, all built around the chain's new Caesar Sauce.

That detail matters because McDonald's discontinued its traditional salads, including Chicken Caesar salad, in 2020. The company is reviving the flavor instead of the format, and the return comes through sandwiches, wraps and strips, not a salad bowl. It is also leaning on its updated McCrispy Strips, which now use a crispier panko breading, to give the launch a fresher base.
For now, the key question is not what is being added but how long it will stay. McDonald's has said the new Caesar items will be sold only for a limited time at participating restaurants, and it has not given an end date. That means July 21 is the start of the run, not the finish line.
