James Franco has posted new TikTok footage that he says shows an alien at his home, pushing his long-running claims into a more concrete, and more visible, phase. In the black-and-white security-style clip, he says the creature was moving through bushes, peeking into the house and coming from a garage in the backyard.
The 48-year-old framed the video as the payoff to days of buildup. “You wanted it. Here it is. I deliver,” he said, after spending the past few weeks posting about being followed after a visitation and, before that, sharing alien claims without showing evidence.
That is why the clip is drawing attention now. Franco had already turned TikTok into the place where he was telling the story, and the new video is the first time he has shown what he presents as proof. He also said, “That's my garage,” as he pointed outside, and added that he had gone out there to do night painting before hearing something and turning on the light.
Franco then leaned harder into the claim. “I saw eyes, I saw glowing eyes, and a hand,” he said. “I don't know how many fingers, but hand, and speaking.” He also said, “I have not gone back in there, but I'm going to go.... I'm going to show you.”
The reaction has been skeptical. His TikTok account follows only two other accounts, the official page for Love Meets in the Sunshine and Christian Guiton, and Guiton has denied that the videos are meant to promote the film. “It's not a science fiction movie,” he said. “It's not a conspiracy movie.” He added, “If I was promoting Sunshine, this is not how we would do it.”
That leaves the central question untouched: whether Franco is documenting something real or using the account to build interest around a project. He insisted, “Hey guys, this is James Franco. Me, really James Franco,” followed by, “I'm not promoting anything, okay?” He also said, “Some serious, some serious s--t is going on, okay?” and doubled down with, “It's real, okay? I'm real. It's not AI, it's not anything.” Then he pushed the point one step further: “Could AI James do this? No, could not.”
Christian Guiton first began making alien claims in clips after joining TikTok in June, and Franco’s version has now moved from suggestion to footage. What comes next is simple: either he posts more evidence, or the clip remains what many viewers already seem to think it is — a claim with no proof behind it.
