Gracie Abrams released “Look at My Life” on 25 June 2026, giving her third studio album rollout a second single and a new video on the same day. The song arrives with a visual directed by Mitch Ryan, and it ends with Abrams escaping in a hot air balloon.
The release is landing now because listeners are already tracking the next phase of Daughter from Hell, which is set to arrive on 17 July 2026. Abrams has been building into that date with “Hit the Wall,” which came one month earlier and opened with a strong streaming and radio start, and with a fresh round of visibility from American Vogue and ’ Popcast.
The video is built like motion: Abrams races through a rural town on a road trip, cuts through an empty dance studio, pauses in a convenience store parking lot, then pulls away in the final escape. It also received a broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU and the Paramount Times Square billboards, which is a reach a straight streaming release would not have had on its own.
That split between the album title and the tour title gives the rollout two different frames. Daughter from Hell is the record; The Look at My Life Tour is the road show. The naming is not accidental, and it suggests the single is doing more than promoting one track. It is setting the tone for a larger era.
There is also a hard number behind the momentum. “Hit the Wall” debuted at #35 at Top 40 Radio and #38 at Hot AC, while also delivering Abrams’ highest Spotify streaming debut to date with 3.9M in under 24-hours and passing over 88 million streams. Those figures matter because they show the new single is not arriving as a reset. It is arriving after a commercial lift that gives the next release real weight.
Daughter from Hell was written and produced with Aaron Dessner, and it follows The Secret of Us, which helped Abrams reach her first ever #1 in the UK, Australia and the Netherlands. The new album is due after seven additional songs on the deluxe edition of The Secret of Us and after “That’s So True” pushed her into the top 10 for the first time, so the bar for this era is already high.
The immediate question now is simple: whether “Look at My Life” becomes the song that turns a strong rollout into a defining one. With the album due on 17 July 2026 and the tour beginning later in the year, Abrams has already put the next step on the calendar. What she has not yet answered is how much of this new era will look like the title and how much will sound like the road.
