Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is now being talked about as a July 22 launch in London, with the company expected to use the stage to show off new foldables. The timing would put the reveal just over a month away and give Samsung a fresh window to reset the conversation around its foldable line.
The event matters because Samsung typically holds two Galaxy Unpacked events each year, and the summer edition is usually where it turns to foldables and smartwatches. This time, the rumor mill says the lineup could stretch beyond the usual two new foldables to three, with the Fold 8 at the center of attention and the Z Flip 8 expected alongside it. The wider device set has also pushed interest toward Samsung’s own wider foldable, a move that comes as the iPhone Ultra is said to be heading toward a wider design later this year.
That is why the search traffic is turning up now. Samsung has already held its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, and the next one would be the company’s second, if the reports prove right. In practical terms, that means the launch clock is already running for anyone tracking the Fold 8, the Z Flip 8 and the possibility of a third foldable joining them at the same event.
What is missing is the only thing that would turn rumor into a schedule: Samsung has not officially confirmed the date or the city. Until it does, the London July 22 talk remains just that, even if it fits the company’s usual summer pattern and the expectation that foldables will lead the announcement. For now, the open question is whether Samsung will stick to the familiar two-device script or use this Unpacked to expand the foldable lineup in a way it has not done before.
