Jess Wright said her 4-year-old son Presley was airlifted to hospital after a freak bouncy castle accident that left him face down on a hard wooden floor from about 3 meters high. He was taken out of the party and into emergency care after struggling to breathe and passing out.
Wright said the search for answers began at the worst possible moment, with doctors discussing broken ribs, spine injury and worse during the journey to London. Presley was later discharged a few hours after arriving with no injuries other than bruises, turning a terrifying medical scare into a brief hospital stay.
The former TOWIE star posted a photo of Presley on a stretcher and called it the scariest day of her life, then later shared another image of him playing in a hospital bed as he recovered. She thanked the families at the birthday party, the ambulance team and doctors at Royal London Hospital, while saying the ordeal left her and her husband William Lee-Kemp traumatized.
What made the incident so alarming for the family was not just the fall itself. Presley was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve when he was two, and Wright said she and Lee-Kemp were especially panicky about his safety because of that heart condition. The boy was blue lit to the trauma unit in London, where the family feared the worst before the scans and examinations brought a far calmer result.
The accident also leaves one basic question unanswered: what caused Presley to be catapulted from the top of the bouncy castle in the first place. Wright has not given that detail, but she has said enough to show how quickly a birthday party turned into an ambulance run, and how fast the outcome changed once doctors checked him over.
