A leaked set of images has pushed Persona 6 back into the spotlight, with a supposed logo, a green color scheme and a rumored release target of September 2027 circulating online. The same wave of leaks has also revived talk around Persona 4 Revival, which is reportedly set for February next year.
Fans were already looking for signs of Atlus’ next move after last week’s images of the Persona 6 protagonist surfaced on Chinese social media. A credible SEGA leaker then said those images were real, and new pictures of the supposed logo later turned up on the ResetEra forum, making the leak feel more substantial than a typical rumor cycle.
In a new post on Xiaohongshu, the account tied to the protagonist leak also surfaced with the game’s logo and the claim that Persona 6 was currently slated for September 2027. The reported green theme adds another layer to the chatter, especially because Atlus has long used color to frame each Persona game’s identity. Persona 3 was marked by blue hues, while Persona 4 leaned on yellow theming.
That is why the leak has cut through so quickly: it offers a date, a visual identity and a sense of where Atlus may be heading next. It also lands at a time when the company’s release rhythm is already being watched closely. Atlus launched Persona 3 Reload in February 2024 and released Metaphor: ReFantazio eight months later in September, giving fans a rough idea of how the studio spaces out major RPG launches.
There is still a catch. Persona 6 has not been officially announced by Atlus, and the leak remains unverified even if some of the images may be genuine. The details should be taken with a grain of salt until the company says otherwise, especially with no public confirmation yet on whether September 2027 is real or just another fan-facing tease.
If the leaks hold up, the next checkpoint may come sooner than many expect. The article points to the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026 as a possible stage for a Persona 6 release date announcement, which would fit the current pace of speculation and keep the franchise front and center while Persona 4 Revival is also rumored to arrive in February next year.
