Memorial Day has become a prime moment to buy a TV, and this year the best tv deals include both brand-new 2026 models and older sets being cleared out for what comes next. Some of the releases shown at CES 2026 are already on shelves, and several are already cheaper than their launch prices.
Hisense’s new U6 Pro is one of the standout arrivals. The mid-range 2026 model comes with Mini-LED backlighting, quantum-dot color, AI-driven processing, a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, a 144Hz refresh rate and 2.1-channel Dolby Atmos audio. Hisense says the set is an easy way to “step into a premium experience without moving into higher-priced tiers.” The 75-inch version has now taken a second price cut since it launched earlier this month.
Hisense also launched a new 2026 version of the CanvasTV earlier this month, and the updates are meant to make the screen feel more natural in a living room. The TV uses a Hi-QLED display with an AI RGB ambient light sensor that adjusts brightness and color temperature based on room lighting. It also adds motion detection that wakes the display when someone enters the room and fades it when they walk away. The 2026 model keeps the 144Hz refresh rate, Hi-Matte design, teak frame and free digital art library.
Retailers are pushing hard on that mix of new and old inventory. Amazon and Best Buy both have the 65-inch Hisense CanvasTV for $900 off. Other markdowns are spread across Hisense, Samsung, LG, Amazon and Insignia, with some prices undercutting launch levels by hundreds of dollars. The pattern is familiar for Memorial Day: the newest TVs get early discounts, while last-generation models are marked down to make room for the next wave.
Among the lowest prices, the Hisense 43-inch E6 Cinema QLED 4K TV is listed at $209.99, down from $349.99. Amazon has the 43-inch Ember 4-Series 4K TV at $269.99, down from $329.99, while the 50-inch Ember 4-Series 4K TV is $309.99, down from $399.99. The 50-inch Ember QLED 4K TV is $419.99, down from $479.99. Hisense’s 50-inch S7 Canvas QLED 4K TV is listed at $798.99, down from $1,299.99, and the Insignia 55-inch F50 LED 4K TV is down to $199.99 from $349.99.
More deals sit in the middle of the pack, where shoppers can still find deep cuts on larger sets. The Hisense 55-inch E6 Cinema QLED 4K TV is $278.99, down from $429.99. The Hisense 55-inch U6 Mini LED QLED 4K TV is $399.99, down from $799.99. Amazon’s 55-inch Ember Mini-LED QLED 4K TV is $559.99, down from $819.99. The Hisense 55-inch U6 Pro Mini-LED ULED 4K TV is $599.99, down from $849.99, and LG’s 55-inch B5 OLED 4K TV is $799.99, down from $1,499.99.
The bigger-screen discounts are just as aggressive. Samsung’s 65-inch Class QLED Q7F 4K TV is listed at $427.99, down from $499.99, while LG’s 65-inch 70A QNED AI 4K TV is $429.99, down from $579.99. That leaves Memorial Day shoppers with a choice between the newest models that are already moving down in price and older TVs that are being cleared out fast. For buyers who have been waiting to upgrade, the sale window is open now.
