Moviegoers who buy a ticket to Stop! That! Train! through Fandango beginning May 19 will get a free three-month subscription to WOW Presents Plus, a tie-in that runs through Friday, June 26 and lands just ahead of the film’s North American theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
The promotion gives RuPaul’s new film a runway before it opens in theaters, while also funneling new viewers to a streaming service built around drag entertainment. Stop! That! Train! stars RuPaul and features Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Latrice Royale, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Monét X Change and Symone, with Bleecker Street set to release it in North America. The movie follows best friends Tess and DeeDee, train stewardesses on the Stank Rail who move to the Glamazonian Express and then face a catastrophic Stormaganza that threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles. To save the day, they have to team up with the snobby first-class attendants and President Gagwell.
Adam Shankman directed the film, which was written by Connor Wright and Christina Friel and produced by World of Wonder, Universal Pictures Content Group and Bleecker Street. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, RuPaul Charles and Shankman are producers, while Unapologetic Projects serves as an executive producer and financier on the project.
The timing also reinforces the reach of WOW Presents Plus, which carries international versions of Drag Race across the US, Spain, France, Canada, the UK, Down Under, the Philippines, Thailand, Mexico and more. The streamer also offers weekly shows, documentaries and specials including Dear Viv, UNHhhh with Trixie & Katya, Fashion Photo RuView, Pangina Heals’ Tongue Thai'd, Painted with Raven and Club Cumming.
For RuPaul, the campaign links a theatrical release to an audience already primed for the franchise’s world, and it does so before the movie is even in cinemas. By the time June 12 arrives, the film will have had weeks to build awareness and convert ticket buyers into subscribers, turning the release into both a box-office push and a streaming pitch.
