Unknown Worlds has teamed up with Noh Mi-young, the artist behind LEVIATHAN, to mark the launch of Subnautica 2 into Early Access on May 14th. The collaboration brings her distinct artwork and characters together with three iconic Subnautica Leviathans as the game opens to players now.
The launch comes with a pair of time-limited rewards tied to the game’s early momentum. The first-week Reaper Leviathan in-game Statue is free for all players as a thank-you for 5 million wishlists, while players who buy Subnautica 2 before May 25 will receive a Reaper Leviathan in-game base decoration.
LEVIATHAN is a post-apocalyptic Webtoon in which creatures known as leviathans threaten humanity, and that premise makes Noh’s partnership with the underwater survival game a natural fit. Unknown Worlds also points to a first Early Access roadmap for Subnautica 2, signaling that the launch is only the first step in what comes next for the game.
The one detail that stands out is how carefully the rewards are being staged. The free statue is limited to the first week of Early Access, and the base decoration disappears after May 25, which means the studio is using the launch window not just to celebrate demand, but to push players into the game while the spotlight is brightest. That makes the collector leviathan promotion part thank-you, part deadline.
For players, the answer is straightforward: Subnautica 2 is available now in Early Access, the collaboration is live, and the launch bonuses are only temporary. The immediate question is not whether the game has arrived, but how quickly fans move to claim the rewards before the windows close.
