That production gives Oklahoma a steady piece while several newcomers learn the speed of the room around him.
Sategna said the choice started with prayer and a sense that loyalty pointed him back to OU. He said he kept hearing that he should stay where he is, that he still has more to give, and that Oklahoma felt like the right place to be. The return keeps him on a roster where he was already voted to the conference preseason second team, a small sign that the rest of the league sees the same thing the Sooners do.

If Sategna keeps producing while settling into the kind of leadership Oklahoma needs, the Sooners get more than a top receiver back.
