Roger Daltrey is bringing his A Great Night Out Tour to Artpark on Sept. 17, with the singer set to play the Mainstage Theater and draw from both his solo work and the catalog he built with The Who.
The tour launches Aug. 23 in Mesa, Ariz., and will feature hand-picked musicians, including guitarist Simon Townshend, the younger brother of Pete Townshend. The release says the 2026 dates will spotlight Daltrey’s unmistakable voice and deep catalog, blending songs from his solo material with reimagined cover songs and Who rarities.
The announcement gives fans a fresh solo outing from Daltrey after two years without solo shows. It also lands less than a year after what was described as The Who’s final North America show, making the new run a quick return to the songs that defined much of his career while still leaving room for the deeper cuts he has rarely performed live.
Daltrey, who was knighted by Prince William in December for his work with the Teenage Cancer Trust and contributions to music, is being framed in the release as an artist still very much in voice and in command of his material. The same release said his 2024 performances were widely celebrated for their acoustic intimacy, storytelling and enduring vocal presence, and that he will again offer renditions of songs seldom performed live by The Who or by Daltrey himself.
For Artpark, the schedule is already set. Presale for the Sept. 17 show begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday under the password GREATNIGHT, and tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m.
