Fox Nation has released the first trailer for The Vow Show, giving viewers their first look at Chris Harrison’s new dating series and setting a November 11 premiere. The six-part show introduces Jace Cates, 30, as its first eligible bachelor.

The trailer makes the premise plain fast. Cates says he is there to find love, then appears praying as the show frames his search around faith, commitment and marriage. He is set to begin a relationship journey with ten women, all of whom are looking for lasting commitment rather than a short-term flirtation.

That is why the trailer is landing now. The Vow Show is being sold as a faith-driven test of whether shared values, communication and long-term goals can support a relationship built to last after the cameras stop rolling. Harrison, who hosts the series, is also executive producing it alongside Lauren Zima, Nicholas Caprio, Tom Huffman and Louis Caric, with Elan Gale as consulting producer and Lionsgate Alternative Television behind the production. Fox Entertainment Global will distribute the series internationally as finished tape and as a format.

But the trailer also undercuts its own clean image. One eligible bachelorette tells Cates, in explicit terms, that she wants to know him biblically and jokes that he should put a baby in her. The line is striking because it lands inside a show that is otherwise trying to present itself as serious, values-based and marriage-minded.

The timing also matters because the trailer arrives a few weeks after Warner Bros. claimed The Vow infringes on its copyright and trademarks for The Bachelor. Harrison said he does not see Warner Bros. going after the 50, 60, 70 other relationship dating shows that came on while he was there or since he left, and added: “There’s been one show that they’ve gone after. Is that a coincidence? You be the judge.” For now, the immediate answer is simpler: Fox Nation has put The Vow Show in public view, and the series is now on the clock toward November 11.
