Chankas Cyc Vs Alianza Lima: Guede travel sparks security complaint in Andahuaylas

Alianza Lima traveled to Andahuaylas with Pablo Guede on the delegation list, but the coach was not going to sit on the bench for the final stretch of the Torneo Clausura. The trip came with a complaint already on the record: the club said Los Chankas had not provided minimum security guarantees for Guede and the visiting officials who made the journey.

The issue surfaced as the match against Los Chankas drew near and after Guede had already been sanctioned for the heated exchange with Hernán Barcos in Alianza Lima's last meeting with Sporting Cristal. That sanction kept him off the touchline, yet he still traveled because he remained part of the delegation heading to Andahuaylas.

Tito Ordóñez took the complaint public through his official X account. He said the host club was not offering the minimum protections required for Pablo Guede, the Navarro, and other visiting directors, and warned that the arrangement could make it difficult for Guede to speak with his staff or even follow the match properly.

That complaint landed after Los Chankas decided the Torneo Clausura game would be played only with local fans in the stands. Alianza Lima had already objected to that setup once the visiting supporters were barred from the stadium, arguing that the same measure left its coach and delegation exposed without the basic safeguards a professional match should provide.

Guede's sanction explains why his presence in Andahuaylas mattered even though he could not occupy the bench: he could still travel, but he was reduced to watching the match from outside the area where he normally directs the team. The dispute leaves a simple question hanging over the night in Andahuaylas: whether a game can be staged as planned when the visiting side says its coach and officials do not even have the minimum conditions to work in it.
