The Vikings will host the Buffalo Bills at 7:15 p.m. CT on Monday, Nov. 9, in a Week 9 game that closes out the 2026 season’s ninth week. The matchup will air nationally on ABC and, giving fans a prime-time look at a game that already carries weight because both teams enter at 6-1.

It is also one of the most unusual meetings on the slate. The clubs have faced each other only 15 times before, which makes this the 16th official meeting between the franchises. Minnesota won the most recent one, 33-30 in overtime at Buffalo in 2022, and this rematch arrives with both sides trending at the top of the standings rather than in the middle of them.

The broadcast window is not the only reason people will be searching for Bills Vs Vikings now. The game is Minnesota’s annual Salute to Service game, and it will also be the setting for Adrian Peterson’s formal induction into the Vikings Ring of Honor during the game-night ceremony. That ceremony will be livestreamed on Vikings.com and through the official Minnesota Vikings App, adding another layer to a night already built around national attention.

There is also a full slate of coverage around the matchup. Vikings GameDay Live will air on FOX 9 in the Twin Cities market from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on Sunday, Nov. 8. ABC and will simulcast the game, Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will handle sideline reporting, and audio coverage will run on KFAN 100.3-FM, KTLK 1130-AM and the five-state Vikings Audio Network with 70 affiliates.

Spanish-language coverage will be available through Tico Sports at WREY 94.9 FM and 630 AM, and also on Tico-Sports.com, elrey949fm.com and Vikings.com. Fans who want to watch through streaming platforms can also use NFL+, which is available in the NFL app and at NFL.com/plus. The game has the feel of a showcase, but the old history between these teams still matters: a rare meeting, a prime-time window and a ceremony for one of Minnesota’s biggest names all land on the same Monday night.

By the time the game kicks off, the question will not be whether the night matters. It already does. What remains to be seen is whether the Bills and Vikings turn a heavily scheduled event into the kind of game that lives up to the rest of the night around it.
