Galatasaray U19 and Stuttgart finished 2-2 in the UEFA Gençlik Ligi'nin 4. haftasında, and Galatasaray left with a point after twice moving in front. Berat Luş opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, but Stuttgart answered before halftime and then again late to deny Galatasaray a win.
The result mattered immediately because it ended Galatasaray's two-match losing streak and lifted its total to 2 points, while Stuttgart moved to 4. Luş gave Galatasaray the start it needed, Enis Redzepi levelled in the 49th minute, and Arda Tagay restored the lead in the 73rd minute before Brayan Kenmoe struck from outside the penalty area in the 87th minute to force the share of the spoils.
That sequence is what made the draw feel heavier than the final score. Galatasaray had control twice, but each time Stuttgart found a reply, first through Redzepi and then through Kenmoe at the end, turning what looked like a much-needed win into another reminder of how narrow the margin is at this level. The late equaliser also stopped Galatasaray from turning the match into a climb in the standings after four rounds.
The next test comes quickly. Galatasaray U19 will host Aston Villa next week, while Stuttgart goes away to Inter, and both teams will carry this result into those games with the table still unsettled after the fourth round.
