Nebraska’s Halloween Night game against Washington will air on BTN, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. CT at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. It is a prime-time Big Ten contest, and for fans searching what channel is the Nebraska football game on, the answer is straightforward: BTN.
The timing matters because the game is happening this weekend, when the broadcast details stop being a preview and become the plan. Nebraska and Washington will meet for the first time as Big Ten opponents, and Saturday night will be their 11th all-time meeting. The matchup also comes with both teams trying to settle into the stretch run, with Nebraska at 5-2 and 2-2 in Big Ten play and Washington at 4-3 overall and 1-3 in the league.
For those who want the radio side of the broadcast, the game can also be heard on the Huskers Radio Network, Huskers.com and the official Huskers App. That gives Nebraska fans more than one way to follow a game that has a little more edge than a normal regular-season date. Washington is coming off a 38-26 win at Purdue on Oct. 16, while Nebraska is back from a bye after a 17-14 loss at Oregon on Oct. 17 that came after the Huskers led throughout the second half.
That is the part that complicates the clean TV listing. Nebraska enters with a 5-2 record, but those two three-point losses have left the Huskers looking for a response, and their defense has been carrying the weight. Nebraska leads the nation in third-down defense and ranks among the top 20 nationally in total defense and scoring defense, which gives Halloween Night in Lincoln a very different feel from a routine broadcast assignment.
So the next thing to watch is simple: a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on BTN, with Nebraska and Washington finally meeting as Big Ten opponents under the lights in Lincoln.
