Mario Craver went from questionable earlier in the week to probable in Texas A&M's Friday SEC availability report, putting him on track to play Saturday against Alabama. The upgrade gives him a 75% chance to take the field, according to the SEC's availability policy.

That update arrived one day before the 2:30 p.m. kickoff in Tuscaloosa, when Texas A&M's status report became a clearer snapshot of who might be available for a conference game that carries immediate lineup consequences. Craver's change was the headline move for the Aggies because it moved one of their wide receivers from uncertain to likely to suit up.

Texas A&M had four players upgraded to probable in the report. Along with Craver, defensive tackle DJ Hicks, linebacker Daymion Sanford and offensive lineman Trovon Baugh all moved into the probable category. But the picture was not entirely clean for the Aggies. Defensive end Anto Saka remained questionable, while wide receivers Terry Bussy and Kelshaun Johnson, along with offensive lineman Blake Ivy, were ruled out for Saturday's game.

The Alabama side also came out of the report with significant changes. Defensive back Zabien Brown, running back EJ Crowell and offensive lineman Racin Delgatty were downgraded to doubtful. Crowell has rushed for 216 yards and four touchdowns in 59 total snaps this season, while Delgatty has played 389 snaps on the Alabama offense. Brown has participated in 385 snaps on defense and has 19 tackles and four passes defended.

The final answer on Craver will come at kickoff, but Friday's report made clear that his status had improved at the right moment for Texas A&M. In a game shaped by the availability list on both sides, that kind of late-week shift can matter as much as any practice note.
