Auburn has changed the game-day routine for Lsu Vs Auburn on Saturday, Oct. 24, rolling out traffic, entry and concession updates for the 11 a.m. CT kickoff at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Fans heading to the first home game in a month are being told to plan earlier than usual and expect the stadium to start filling well before noon.
The biggest draw for early arrivals is the short discount window. From 8:45 to 9:30 a.m., Auburn Athletics and Aramark will cut 50 percent off food and non-alcoholic drinks at Auburn-operated concession stands, while portable brew carts will sell $5 12-ounce Michelob Ultras. Those deals do not apply at independently operated spots such as Ben’s Pretzels and Chicken Salad Chick, and fans are being pushed to download the Auburn Tigers app for live updates and campus information.
Auburn Athletics said lines should start forming at the gates by 10 a.m., a reminder that the morning will move fast once the crowd begins arriving for the All Auburn, All Orange game. The timing matters because the usual game-day flow is being squeezed by the stretch between Tiger Walk and the Four Corners Pep Rally, which has lengthened road closures and kept congestion building even as Auburn adjusts the traffic plan.
That pressure is why Donahue Drive and Heisman Drive will reopen after Tiger Walk ends, then close again 10 minutes before the Four Corners Pep Rally begins at 9:40 a.m. Auburn has also reopened Gate 18 and added two new stadium entry points in the northwest corner of Jordan-Hare Stadium, along with a new pedestrian walkway inside the stadium that links Gates 14–18 directly to the north end zone.
The changes are meant to speed movement into the stadium, but the unresolved question is how much relief they will actually provide when the crowd arrives at once for an 11 a.m. kickoff. For fans coming to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, the safest plan is simple: get there early, move fast, and expect the morning to be crowded before LSU ever takes the field.
