PlayStation has released a new 50-second spot featuring LISA, and the clip opens a fresh window on Tarantino. In the promo, she rides a lift to floor 5, picks a different quest, and grabs a limited-edition DualSense wireless controller before the soundbed swells into an extended preview of the track.
The new spot matters because it is not just a tease for a game-brand campaign. It is also the latest push around LISA’s upcoming EP Press Play, due out Friday, Oct. 23, and it arrives with a direct preview of the song that fans have been waiting to hear in full. LISA sings, “Got my nails really long like the barrel of my gun and my lipstick all over your face,” then follows with, “I’m a boss, I’m a don when I’m driving to the sun. It’s a movie, baby, come and press play.”
The footage leans into PlayStation worlds, showing Marvel Wolverine, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, God of War: Laufey, and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls as part of the same fast-cut sequence. That makes the new promo feel broader than a simple music teaser: it is a cross-brand piece built to push hardware, music and game imagery at once, with the DualSense design now tied to LISA’s involvement and available for preorder at PlayStation.
There is a catch, though. The clip is framed as an extended preview of Tarantino, but the full EP around it is still not due until Friday, Oct. 23. For now, the campaign extends LISA’s global PS5 tie-in that started last year and keeps the release cycle moving, with the all-new DualSense hardware set to arrive Oct. 30 in limited quantities. Official merchandise, including apparel, tote bags and hats, is already on sale through LISA’s official Amazon store and PlayStation’s online store.
The timing also folds in a busy stretch for LISA beyond this campaign. Always Lalisa arrived in cinemas early this month, and her Las Vegas residency is due to begin Nov. 12 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Press Play also follows Alter Ego, her 2025 solo album that peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, while its lead single, SaWaDiKa, reached No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200 in September. For now, the new spot does what it sets out to do: it gives Tarantino a bigger stage while leaving the full track just out of reach.
