The Terminal List is back on Prime Video this week after a four-year wait, and Chris Pratt returns as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece in an eight-part season. Gabriel Luna also joins the Terminal List season 2 cast as Freddy Strain.

That return matters because viewers had been waiting since the first season left them with Reece in the center of a story that is built to keep moving. Season two follows him as he uncovers an international conspiracy tied to his own family history, which pushes the series beyond its earlier shape and into a wider field of danger.

Pratt is joined again by Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry. The cast gives the new run a familiar backbone, while Luna’s arrival signals that the series is not simply revisiting old ground.

The delay is the part viewers noticed first. There was a long gap between seasons, even as The Terminal List franchise built momentum and drew more than 100 million viewers across the brand. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf launched in August last year, so the new season lands after the universe has already kept moving without it.

That makes the release feel like a continuation and a catch-up at the same time. Season one was framed as a psychological revenge thriller; season two opens into a globe-trotting espionage thriller, but it is still anchored by Pratt’s James Reece and the same source material, Jack Carr’s True Believer. Both seasons of The Terminal List are now available to stream on Prime Video, which is the clearest answer to the wait: the show is finally here again, and this time the story can move on.
