Pokémon has put a new anniversary item on sale for pre-order: the Mewtwo Metal Hybrid Ring by Enso, priced at $134.99 and made for adults. The ring is listed now on Pokémon Center in sizes 6 to 13, with Mewtwo’s glare set against a deep purple background.

The timing matters because Pokémon’s 30th anniversary rollout is already moving fast. A February stream showed a first look at Gen 10's Pokémon Winds and Waves, last month brought the 30th Celebration collection in the Trading Card Game, and this week Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG skateboard decks sold out almost as soon as they went live. The ring gives fans another anniversary item to chase, and this one leans hard on one of the franchise’s most recognizable figures.

Mewtwo was an obvious choice for that kind of spotlight. Pokémon: The First Movie — Mewtwo Strikes Back was a watershed moment for many fans in the 1990s, and that history helps explain why the character keeps returning in anniversary merchandise. Pokémon Center is also listing silicone rings featuring Gengar and Charizard for $44.99 each, which shows the new ring is part of a wider lineup rather than a one-off design.

That is where the question starts to sharpen. The ring is being framed as a fresh Mewtwo release, but the character itself is anything but new to Pokémon history, and the comments around the item make that plain. What remains unanswered is the practical part readers care about most: how many are available, and whether this one will disappear as quickly as the skateboard decks did. For now, the only clear answer is that fans can already reserve theirs, and the 30th anniversary merch wave is not slowing down.
