Victor Webster is back in the Hallmark spotlight as his new film, 'Tis the Season for Setups, debuts on Friday, October 16, but the attention around him is not only about the movie. The 53-year-old actor remains tied to the end of his marriage to Shantel VanSanten, which ended in early 2023 after the two cited irreconcilable differences.
In the new Hallmark film, Webster plays Ridge, a ski instructor opposite Amanda Schull, who plays Lexi, a party planner and single mom. That casting has put his personal life back in view because he is one of Hallmark’s familiar faces, best known for Days of Our Lives, Charmed and Workin' Moms, and because he also appears in The Wedding Veil movies.
Webster and VanSanten met on the set of Love Blossoms in 2017 and got married in 2021, giving their split a timeline that fans have followed closely. A year later, a report surfaced about their custody arrangement for their dog, Nova, which kept the breakup in the conversation long after the marriage had ended.
What has not changed is the lack of clarity around Webster’s current romantic life. He has stayed fairly private in recent years, and he has not shared details about a new girlfriend, so it remains unclear whether he is single or keeping a relationship out of view.
For now, the cleanest answer is the simplest one: Webster is promoting a new Hallmark holiday film while his most public relationship remains a finished chapter, and there is no confirmed sign that he has started another one.
