The Ministry of Defense will authorize deployment of the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond on October 20, giving Helldivers 2 players a new premium loadout built around long-range and clandestine combat solutions. The pack brings rifles, a sidearm, a grenade, armor sets, capes and player cards into one release.
That is why the new warbond Helldivers fans are looking for now: it has a firm date, and its lineup is aimed squarely at players who like to keep distance and stay hidden. The R-40 Sightliner is a bolt-action sniper rifle built for armor-piercing shots and long-range precision, while the P-44 Mist is a one-handed machine pistol meant for compact carry.
The heavier options go further. The AMW-20 Apex is a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload, and the LAS-44 Nova adds a LAS-series energy rifle that fires a high-precision non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge cycle. The G-11 Caltrops rounds out the weapons with a scatter of proximity-detonated submunitions that slow and stun foes, which makes the package feel less like a single gimmick and more like a full build for distance control.
Still, the clean stealth pitch has a sharp edge. The AMW-20 Apex is far from subtle, and neither is a weapon that can reach out with anti-materiel force, even if the rest of the warbond leans toward careful positioning and low-profile play. That contrast gives the release its hook: it is about hidden movement and patient shots, but not every tool in the box is quiet about its purpose.
The armor side follows the same logic. The SS-33 Mimetic Marshal is a light armor inspired by old-fashioned ghillie suits, paired with the Mimetic Mesh cape and player card. The SS-15 Focal Point is a medium armor with integrated adaptive camouflage and cutting-edge optics, and it comes with the Boundary Banner cape and player card. Both armors use the Stationary Shroud passive, which reduces weapon sway and fits the warbond’s long-range focus.
What has not been disclosed is the price or any exact unlock requirements, so players know the date and the contents but not yet the full cost of entry. For now, the clearest answer is that October 20 is the day the new premium warbond goes live, and it is built to give Helldivers 2 a different way to fight from the shadows and from far away.
