Metro 2039 preorders could open on October 13, 2026, if a new report is right. The leak also lays out three editions, with the Metro 2039 Collectors Edition carrying a wearable replica of the Spartan helmet and a reported price of €299.99, or $336.08.
That is the number buyers were waiting for because Metro 2039 is already one of the year’s most watched releases, with almost two million wishlists globally and the most nominations at the 2026 Gamescom Awards. It is slated to launch on February 4th for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, so any preorder window lands just as interest is peaking.
Billbil-kun of Dealabs said the Day One edition would cost €69.99, or $78.41, while the Deluxe edition would come in at €109.99, or $123.22. The Collector edition would sit above both at €299.99, with the helmet replica as the extra item on top of the Deluxe contents. The pricing gives a clear ladder for buyers: a standard entry point, a mid-tier upgrade, and a high-end collector package built around the physical prop.
The report also says all three editions are expected to come with physical releases, but it leaves one important detail unresolved. The PC version is expected to be a code-in-a-box, while the physical format for the other platforms is not clarified. That matters because the official Metro social media account said preorders would go live this week, yet the Dealabs timeline points to a later window, saying they will not open later than October 14 and are most likely to begin on Wednesday, October 13.
That leaves buyers with a fairly tight read on what is coming next, even if the packaging question is still open. If the leak holds, Metro 2039 preorder pages should appear no later than October 14, with the likely start set for October 13 and the Collector edition aimed squarely at fans who want the helmet rather than just the game.
