Anna Kendrick is scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, Oct. 5, according to ABC’s newly listed weeklong lineup for the late-night show. She is paired with Misty Green on the Monday schedule, and the episode is set to air at 11:35 p.m. EST if the plan holds.
That makes Kendrick one of the first names viewers are likely to search for in the Week of October 5 schedule, especially because ABC has already laid out the rest of the week through October 9. Monday’s lineup also includes Marcus Mumford and Mumford & Sons, while Sophia James sits in with The Cletones. The schedule puts Kendrick at the center of the night’s guest list, not off to the side.
The show’s weeklong booking also stretches beyond Monday, with Kerry Washington and Kyle MacLachlan on Tuesday, Jessica Chastain and Malcolm Gladwell on Wednesday, and Michael Douglas and Daisy Edgar-Jones on Thursday. Remi Wolf is set as the musical guest on Thursday, and Sophia James is listed with The Cletones across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. ABC describes Jimmy Kimmel Live as an Emmy Award-winning late-night talk show, but this is still only a schedule announcement, not a live broadcast recap.
That matters because the lineup is subject to change even after Kendrick has been placed on the Monday card. For viewers, the cleanest reading is simple: Anna Kendrick is currently booked for Monday, Oct. 5, and if the schedule stands, that is the night she should appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
