The Ravens have seen this opponent before. Baltimore holds a 6-2 edge in the all-time series, and the teams last met in 2022, when the Ravens won 27-13 in New Orleans. That game carried a personal thread for Roquan Smith, who made his Ravens debut after arriving in a trade with the Chicago Bears a week earlier, finished with five tackles and played 76% of the defensive snaps.
This meeting also lands against a backdrop of pressure at home. Baltimore had a 3-6 home record in 2025, and Jesse Minter has made it a priority to reestablish home field advantage. The Ravens enter with several offensive questions, too. That is the friction in the game.
