Sophie Cunningham has launched a new podcast called No Hesitation with Drew Hanlen, replacing Show Me Something after the earlier show stopped releasing episodes this summer. The debut marks a clean break in Cunningham’s media setup, with the new project now carrying the names and branding that once belonged to the old one.
The change matters because Cunningham’s previous show was tied to West Wilson, and the transition had already drawn attention before this week’s relaunch. Show Me Something’s social media accounts and YouTube channel were rebranded under the No Hesitation name, but neither Cunningham nor Wilson has publicly said whether his departure was linked to their disagreement over transgender athletes in sports.
Cunningham had made her position clear in July, saying she believed women’s sports should remain reserved for biological females. She said, “I said what I said. I think it’s common sense,” and added that “I think I’ll always believe in that.” She also said, “It’s really important to protect children, and that’s little girls who are also involved in that category.”
Wilson later pushed back, calling transgender participation in American sports a “borderline non-existent issue” and accusing conservatives, politicians, athletes and news organizations of overstating the threat. Cunningham has said she does not hate transgender people and believes there is room to love everyone, while maintaining that the rights, safety and opportunities of biological women must be protected.
Hanlen acknowledged the political attention Cunningham has attracted, but the debut episode of No Hesitation did not dwell on the dispute. Cunningham and Hanlen stayed on basketball, which is exactly how she said she wanted it: “real, honest truth about basketball and strictly basketball.” That leaves the biggest unanswered point in the transition intact — whether Wilson’s exit was simply a creative reset or the result of the fight that had already spilled into public view.
