The schedule gives readers the first clean look at how the Longhorns’ conference season will unfold. Texas opens SEC play at home against Florida on March 12-14, then goes to Tennessee on March 19-21 before bringing Alabama to Austin for the third series of the league season.
That home date matters because Texas does not spend much of the SEC schedule at McCombs Field. After the Alabama series, the Longhorns host Missouri on April 9-11 and Mississippi State on April 30-May 2.
