América Femenil kept its hold on first place in Grupo B on Friday, beating Club Tijuana Femenil 3-1 at the Estadio Centenario in Coapa and stretching its perfect start in the Apertura 2026. The win lifted the team to 15 points and 28 goals, a pace that leaves it looking like the side everyone else is chasing.
Geyse Ferreira was again at the center of it. Tijuana’s immediate task is to host Tuzas de Pachuca on Saturday, September 5, at the estadio Caliente, then later visit Nemesio Diez to face Diablas de Toluca. For América, the gap is no longer just about winning; it is about how far it can keep pulling away while the rest of Grupo B tries to catch up.
