All Elite Wrestling has put the AEW World Trios Championship on the line at AEW All In: London in a new format, with Hangman Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido defending the belts in the inaugural AEW Trios Roulette Royale. Tony Khan confirmed the match during the AEW All In media call, making the title defense one of the clearest additions to the AEW All In Buy-In card this weekend.
The timing matters because Page, King and Bandido won the titles earlier this month at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Mexico, and now their first defense comes on a much bigger stage. For a team that just claimed the championship, the shift from a victory in Grand Slam Mexico to a defense at AEW All In: London turns the trios titles into one of the event’s key attractions.
Khan said the bout will feature seven total teams: the champions, five confirmed challengers and a Joker team that has not been identified. The Bang Bang Gang, The Demand, The Dogs, The Death Riders and The Conglomeration are already in the field, which leaves one final trio to be revealed. The setup gives AEW a title match built on chance and elimination rather than a standard bracket, and it gives the champions almost no room to plan around a single opponent.
Khan compared the new match to the $300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios Royale that aired in December of 2022, but he stopped short of spelling out every rule. He said, “You'll have trios entering until only one trio or the members of one trio remain,” which points to a rolling-entry format without fully answering how the field will be ordered or how the final team will be decided.
The lack of a full rule sheet is the one open question hanging over the announcement, and it is the one AEW appears ready to push toward the next show. Khan said more about what has been announced is likely to come on the upcoming episode of AEW Collision, which means the final trio and any missing details may not wait until London itself. For Page, the spotlight is already fixed: he goes into AEW All In: London with a title, two partners and six possible outcomes around him.
