The boost itself is the key. A 50% strikeout boost at DraftKings is not a vague marketing line; it means the sportsbook is improving the payout on the same strikeout result, so the bettor gets a better return if Rodriguez clears the prop. In this case, that adjustment pushed the Over to +182, which is why it stands out among the day’s pitcher props.
Sean Burke sits in the awkward middle ground that often decides these boards. Projections have his Under better than 50%, yet the White Sox starter is still available at plus-money, and that gap is what gives the market shape.
