Juliana Melchor appeared to answer one of the biggest reunion questions before the special even hit Netflix: she was not posting from the taping. Instead, she shared a carousel filled with wine, playing cards and a mystery man, then told followers, “We love this chapter.”
That mattered because the Let’s Marry Harry reunion special was set to stream at 9 p.m. ET, and Harry Jowsey had already turned the lead-up into a guessing game. On Instagram Stories, he asked followers to name who did not get on their flight to the reunion, a tease that put the cast’s attendance under a microscope just as viewers were preparing to watch. Jowsey, who had been engaged to 20 different women, was already at the center of the special’s draw.
There were signs that others from the show were making the trip. Sam Kruse shared a post that showed Dannelle Davidson with Emma Piotrowski, Debralee Tomberlin, Elli Schryver, Abby Easterling, Mya Benway, Shaine Hinson, Faith Love Gonzalez and Rickiyah McGrady. Lauren Hollinger, Lindsay Clark, Charlie Hare, Maya Avery and Samantha Madsen each put up separate posts that lightly signaled they were traveling for the reunion. Amber Mozo did not post directly about the taping, but she did share a post from Malibu Beach on August 21.
Melchor’s post landed differently. While several cast members were hinting at flights, bags and arrivals, she was presenting something else entirely: a new chapter with a new man. That leaves her status in the reunion itself still blurred, even as her message made the relationship part clear. For viewers, the key question is no longer whether the special was going to get attention. It is whether Melchor actually showed up for it, and whether Sammy Gotay, Jade Innes and Emily Stone did as well, since they had not yet confirmed their attendance.
