Remi Bader turned Kim Kardashian’s newest Skims Fits Everybody piece into a punch line on Wednesday, posting an Instagram try-on video that made clear she did not think the Micro Teddy lived up to its name. Bader joked, “For $58 you can have your very own floss up you’re a—hole.”
The item is priced at $58 and came in neon pink and leopard, but it was already sold out in sizes XXS to M as Bader filmed her reaction. She started the video in a nude bra and high-waisted briefs, then dropped the bra in hopes the material would stick to her body. It did not appear to solve the problem. Bader said, “I wanna know what they were thinking in terms of this device and how one gets it in,” before adding, “Whomst is everybody? Because this doesn’t even fit the small part of my nipple.”
That matters because Skims markets itself as a size-inclusive brand that runs from XXS to 3X, and the Micro Teddy sits inside its Fits Everybody collection. The contrast is what made Bader’s video work: she was not just trying on a tiny garment, she was testing the promise attached to it. The piece itself is little more than strings, which leaves open a basic practical question that the marketing does not answer — how it is meant to be worn at all.
The friction is not subtle. A commenter compared the item to the game cats cradle, and Bader’s reaction suggested the joke landed because the garment barely functioned as clothing, much less as something meant to fit broadly. Skims has not publicly answered the critique in the material available here, and that leaves Bader’s video as the clearest rebuttal to the brand’s claim for now: if the Micro Teddy is meant to fit everybody, viewers are still left trying to understand who, exactly, gets it on and how.
