Chelsy Davy has shared a rare look at family life in Mauritius, posting an Instagram video that follows a day in her life there and ends with a photograph of her children running toward the sea. The clip shows her taking a morning stroll along the beach, dropping the children at school and then running a photoshoot for her jewellery brand, Aya.
The post is the clearest public glimpse yet of how Davy is living after relocating with her husband, Sam Cutmore-Scott, and their three children. In one image, Leo, four, and Chloe, two, run along a pontoon toward the water, a small scene that says more than any polished brand message about the rhythm of her days now.
That attention is not hard to understand. Davy has stayed mostly private for years, even as her name has continued to draw interest because of her past relationship with Prince Harry. She dated him on and off for seven years after their romance began in 2004, met him when she was a boarder at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire and later studied law at Leeds University. She was also seen at high-profile events with Harry, including polo matches and society weddings, and attended Harry and Meghan's wedding at Windsor in 2018.
But there is friction in the story of her life now that makes the new post more revealing. Davy once struggled with the royal spotlight, yet she remained close enough to Harry to attend that wedding, and she has built a very different public identity since then. She married Cutmore-Scott in a beach wedding in Mauritius in 2022, moved there with her family last December and welcomed their third child, Finn, in March this year. On Mother’s Day, she announced his arrival and wrote that running Aya alongside raising Finn, Chloe and Leo is a juggle, but one she has chosen.
For now, the post leaves one question hanging: whether this semi-full-time move to Mauritius is simply the latest family chapter or the place where Davy plans to keep building both her home life and her business. She has shown the daily shape of that answer. She has not yet said how long it will last.
