OPI is pulling 12 of its most-requested Nail shades back from the vault for fall, and the comeback is built around names longtime fans already know. The collection, called Most Requested!, brings back returning colors that once drew such demand they strained the company’s inventory system before turning into cult favorites.
The timing makes sense for anyone searching for a new manicure now. Fall launches tend to lean into richer color, and this one gives OPI a way to tap nostalgia without leaving its current lineup behind. The returning shades are offered in the brand’s original Nail Lacquer formula, with matching GelColor versions, while a separate set of Infinite Shine hues broadens the release beyond a straight rerelease.
Among the shades making a return are Mod About You, a soft pink; Lincoln Park After Midnight, a deep eggplant with an almost-black finish; and Every Month Is Oktoberfest, a shimmery burgundy shaped by autumn tones. OPI said the Nail Lacquer formula can last up to seven days when used with its three-step system, the GelColor versions are designed for up to three weeks, and Infinite Shine is built for up to 11 days of gel-like wear.
That mix matters because the collection is not just a museum piece. OPI said the fall lineup blends beloved classics with fresh colors, and the Infinite Shine group includes Mrs. O’Leary’s BBQ and Louvre Me Louvre Me Not. So while the archive is doing most of the emotional work, the brand is still pushing new options alongside the old favorites.
Suzi Weiss-Fischmann framed the launch as part of the company’s wider idea of color as self-expression. She said OPI has spent 45 years inspiring consumers and that she wanted people to have “the entire rainbow at their fingertips through OPI.” She also said the company’s shades have built emotional connections over time, and that this collection is meant to turn those iconic hues into new favorites.
The move fits a pattern OPI has already leaned into. In February 2026, it marked 45 years with OPIcons, a collection built from remixed versions of some of its most iconic colors. Most Requested! keeps that idea going, but with a sharper nostalgia cue: shades that were popular in the 1990s and early 2000s are being brought back because people kept asking for them.
What OPI has not spelled out is the full list of 12 shades or the exact fall release date. That leaves the collection with just enough mystery to keep attention on the names already confirmed, and on whether the revived colors will land with the same force they once had.
