Kill Tony launched its first premium subscription tier on August 6, 2026, adding Kill Tony+ on Supercast and giving fans an ad-free way to watch and listen. The new offering also includes a monthly Ask Me Anything session with Tony Hinchcliffe, a unique camera angle from the live taping released every Monday, and merchandise perks.
The move matters because the show already has a huge free audience: nearly three million subscribers on YouTube and nearly three million downloads per episode across Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Even so, the team is now asking fans to pay for a deeper version of a show that has never had a premium tier before, turning loyalty into a direct line of revenue.
That shift fits the way Kill Tony has grown. Hosted by Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban, the live comedy podcast blends stand-up, improv and comedy talent discovery, and its tapings at The Comedy Mothership in Austin sell out within minutes. Red Seat Ventures, which became Fox Corporation’s ad sales and distribution partner for the show in April after Fox bought the company in February 2025, is using Kill Tony+ as part of a wider push to move creators beyond advertising alone.
The part that will matter most to fans is also the part left unanswered: how much Kill Tony+ will cost. The launch makes the business model clearer, but not the price, and that is the detail that will decide how many listeners decide the free show is enough and how many are ready to pay for more.
