Romans, NBC News's chief business correspondent, said the show will explain what is happening, why it matters and how decisions made in the halls of power around the world and on Wall Street affect people at the kitchen table.
That framing points to a show built to move between breaking developments and the business stories underneath them. The program is set to cover politics, global news and the economy, along with finance, business, technology and artificial intelligence. For a streaming audience, the format matters because it turns those subjects into a scheduled block rather than a clip-by-clip update.
