Kelly Osbourne used Instagram Stories on Monday, Aug. 3 to post a string of cryptic messages that appeared to be aimed at Sid Wilson, turning private strain into a very public message. In one post, she wrote that she wanted to be happy and had “a beautiful son to raise,” while also telling the other person to leave her alone so she could heal.
The timing is what makes the posts land now. Osbourne and Wilson got engaged in July 2025, and she and the Slipknot member welcomed their son Sidney in late 2022, so the messages immediately read like more than a passing outburst. She also wrote that her son’s “little heart once beat right beside mine” and that she would protect it “at all costs,” framing the posts around her child as much as around her own hurt.
Osbourne sharpened that point with a series of lines that sounded directed at someone she sees as deflecting blame. She wrote, “Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence… It’s distraction,” then added that when “the mask slips,” some people do not face themselves but throw things at someone else. She followed that with a post about taking accountability and another saying, “Wake the f--- up take some responsibility I will not take your s--- anymore! I’m done.”
That same thread also carried a harder contradiction. Osbourne said she wants to protect her son and be happy, but she also wrote, “Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?” That line turned the posts from emotional venting into a clear sign of a broader personal break, with money, property and parenting all pulled into the same dispute.
The public backdrop makes the messages even more pointed. Wilson was reportedly removed from Slipknot after 28 years, and the posts came amid reports of relationship struggles. Osbourne also shared quotes while Lewis Capaldi’s “Love the Hell Out of You” and Everybody Loves An Outlaw’s “I See Red” played in the background, underlining the tone she was setting without naming anyone outright.
What remains unresolved is whether the engagement is still intact. Osbourne has not publicly spelled that out, and the posts leave the impression of a relationship under stress but not yet formally explained. For now, the clearest answer is the one she gave herself: she wants her child protected, her own life back under control, and someone else to take responsibility for what comes next.
