The wedding took place at The Vintage House in Douro Valley, with a ceremony at a local church and a reception built around classic Portuguese dishes, a four-tier vanilla cake and Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All” for the first dance. Frank wore a chic tan suit and tie, while Nicole chose a long-sleeved white lace gown with a flowing train before changing into a sleeveless, strapless version so she could dance later in the night.
That detail mattered because the location was not just a backdrop. Frank said Nicole’s family is from Portugal and that her roots there run deep, which helped explain why the trip felt less like a wedding weekend abroad than a return to familiar ground.
