Aleksandar Rakić left Beogradska arena with a unanimous decision win over Marčin Tibura after three rounds, and the judges made the call plain: 30:27 across the board. It was not a close finish. It was a clean scorecard win built round by round, with Rakić doing enough early and never giving the fight back.
That is why the result matters now. Rakić was the more forceful fighter from the opening bell, pressing from distance and landing several punches to Tibura’s head and body in the first round while also trying a kick to the liver area. Tibura answered with hooks, but he never took control, and by the end of the round both men had started to slow the pace and think more about risk than trade.
The second round carried the only real wrinkle in the fight. Tibura told the referee that Rakić had poked him in the eye, a complaint that sits awkwardly beside the numbers: both fighters finished the round with 14 significant strikes apiece. Even so, Rakić kept the cleaner answers. When Tibura tried a kick to the head, Rakić avoided it and fired back with a right straight. The even count did not change the momentum of the bout, because Rakić was still the one forcing Tibura to react.
Rakić sharpened that edge again in the third round. He came forward early, landed a straight punch to the head and spent a longer stretch pushing the fight toward the fence. Once there, he added two elbow strikes and kept Tibura under pressure with clinch work and wrestling. He also opened a cut above his eyebrow in an exchange, leaving his face bleeding, but the blood did not alter how he fought or how the judges saw it. He stayed active until the final minutes, and the bout ended the way a controlled three-round fight usually does: with no stoppage and no doubt on the scorecards.
For a fighter whose name already draws attention in Beograd, the value of this win is in how complete it looked. Rakić did not need a dramatic finish to settle the contest. He needed three rounds of control, and that is what he got. What it changes next is still not clear, but the victory leaves him with a decisive result in front of a home crowd and a scoreline that gives him little room to be denied.
