In an Instagram post, she said the move is temporary, but she was blunt about the size of the shift: she had to pack for four people heading to six different locations.
That is why Farr’s departure is drawing attention now. She framed it as a personal milestone, not a publicity beat, and tied it to a life she says started when she moved from NYC to Los Angeles at 26, chasing an acting dream she is still surprised worked out. She said she raised babies in the sun and the mountains, lived in a beautiful home and sent her children to public schools, adding that Los Angeles will always be where her family is from.
Farr did not present the change as a clean break. She called moving hard, said they are letting the house go, and said leaving the house and leaving home was harder than she expected. She also said she gave away her motorcycle, a small detail that underscored how final the day felt even as she described the move as a hiatus rather than something permanent.
The gap now is how long that hiatus will last. Farr said she is ready for her third act in life and, for the moment, is stepping away from the Los Angeles home that held three children, a career and 30 years of family history.
