The visit comes as readers look for details on one of Scouting America’s biggest gatherings, the National Scout Jamboree, which runs July 22-31 and brings Scouts together from across the country and around the world. The event happens every four years, and this year’s version is centered on adventure, personal growth and lifelong friendships.
Brown said he is looking forward to going to the jamboree to spend time with the Scouts and help motivate them. He said the talk will cover leadership, integrity and the determination it takes to chase dreams, with a message aimed at leaving every Scout knowing that hard work, the right attitude and a willingness to keep pushing forward can make anything possible.

He is a four-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion with more than 80 NHRA national event victories, and he is also a Scouting America partner.
