Disney Consumer Products has rolled out a wide Spider-Man collection built around Spider-Man: Brand New Day, adding new toys, collectibles, apparel, accessories, home décor, books, games and Disney+ offerings. The push gives fans new ways to buy into Spider-Man’s next chapter while keeping the character in view across stores, screens and gaming platforms.
The timing helps explain why searches around Regal Movie Theater are rising now: fans are looking for the next film and the merchandise orbiting it. Paul Gitter called Spider-Man a cultural touchstone whose connection with fans grows stronger with each generation, and said the company wants to give people a daily way to live that fandom, whether through clothing, an action figure or a collectible.
That broader rollout is already reaching multiple partners. LEGO Group, Hasbro, Funko, Mattel, Iron Studios, Civil Regime, Old Navy, Crocs, Fossil, Bershka and Displate have all released Spider-Man products tied to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, while Disney Store and DisneyStore.com are offering their own range inspired by the film. Those store items include the Spider-Man Talking Action Figure, the Spider-Man Light-Up Mask with Sound for Kids and the Spider-Man Big Feet Plush.
The marketing push also stretches beyond shelves and into games. A new Spider-Man costume inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day is coming to Marvel Rivals, which is available free on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store with in-game purchases. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5 and PC will also unlock a new suit inspired by Spider-Man Brand-New Day, keeping the film link visible even where the movie itself is not the main event.
That is the part that is hardest to pin down. The collection clearly rides on the upcoming theatrical release from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, but not every item in the lineup is equally specific about how closely it ties to the new film rather than Spider-Man branding more broadly. Disney’s own release makes the connection strongest in a few places and looser in others, which is common in a franchise this large but still leaves the retail campaign looking wider than a single movie launch.
The calendar gives the campaign its real edge. Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man is available through mid-October exclusively on Disney+, spanning three Peters, two decades and one legendary hero, with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland included. Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie arrives on August 18, and Marvel World of Spider-Man follows on September 22, giving fans a steady run of new material long before the film arrives in theaters.
For now, Disney Consumer Products is selling more than merchandise. It is building a runway for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with the clearest markers landing in late summer and early fall and the broadest tie-ins extending well beyond a single opening night.
