Stassi Schroeder turned her House of Stassi launch into a hotel-room moment before the premiere, celebrating in New York City with caviar and chicken tenders ahead of the show’s July 29 debut on Freeform. She called it “my f*cking premiere party people!!!” and used the night to lean into the same sharp, self-aware style that has long defined her public image.
That timing matters because the series is arriving now, not later. It will land on Freeform on July 29 and stream the next day on Hulu, giving Schroeder a two-platform rollout as she steps back into reality TV with a project built around her own life. The first trailer frames that return clearly: “This time I get to go back and do it, but on my terms. What could go wrong?”
The premiere also answered the basic question about what House of Stassi actually is. Schroeder said the show will follow her as a mom, wife, author and podcaster, with familiar faces including Katie Maloney, Kristina Kelly and Taylor Strecker, along with Beau Clark, their kids and her sister Georgi. In other words, it is not just a title and a vibe; it is a structured return to the orbit that made her recognizable in the first place.
That is where the appeal and the friction sit side by side. Schroeder is presenting the series as something shaped on her own terms, with fashion she describes as “Classic, elevated, and just intimidating enough,” but the premise still reaches back to her Vanderpump Rules past even as it tries to move forward. The new show may be framed as a fresh era, yet it is still built from the same public ingredients that made viewers care before.
She leaned into that image at the premiere, too. Schroeder said she was “giving chic raven” and joked that she looked like “your worst enemy showing up to your funeral,” adding that she would not change a thing. She said the dress was by Nué Studio and explained that the hair had to match the look, noting that “hair can make or break an outfit” and that Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil helped keep the finish glossy even with a messy updo.
What remains unanswered is how far the series will go inside that life and how much of each episode will belong to the domestic version of Schroeder versus the reality-TV version. For now, the launch is set: House of Stassi premieres July 29 on Freeform and reaches Hulu the next day, putting the next chapter in front of viewers almost immediately after the party ends.
