Madison Beer has confirmed her engagement to Justin Herbert, sharing four intimate Instagram photos that showed off a diamond ring on her left hand. She captioned the post, “meet my fiancé,” turning a relationship that had been unfolding in public into a clear new milestone.
The announcement answers the question fans had been asking since the pair first drew attention in August 2025, when Herbert was seen on the set of one of Beer’s Los Angeles shoots and the two were photographed talking and laughing between takes. Days later, they were spotted heading to a friend’s home in Redondo Beach, and the sightings only kept building from there.
By September 2025, Beer and Herbert were photographed holding hands during casual outings. In October, they shared multiple kisses on the sidelines of SoFi Stadium before a Chargers game against the Washington Commanders, and later turned up together at Lakers games, a World Series matchup, Chargers Halloween events and other public appearances. What had started as speculation became hard to miss.
Herbert’s role in the relationship has been notable because he had long kept his personal life out of view, even as the couple became more visible through photos and social posts. That changed in March 2026, when he used Instagram Story tributes for Beer’s birthday and called her “my favorite person of all time,” said she had “changed my life forever” and added that he was “the luckiest guy alive.” Beer answered by calling him her “dream come true.”
He followed that in April 2026 with a photo of the two together and the words “My world,” and later appeared with her in the “lovergirl” video from her Locket Deluxe project. The engagement now makes the relationship official in the most direct way possible, but the one detail still missing is the one couples usually keep for themselves first: when Herbert proposed, and whether wedding plans have already started.
Beer had previously said she was “basic with certain things” when talking about future relationship goals, and she also praised Herbert’s support during her Locket Tour and her Kia Forum headline show. For now, the ring is the answer, and the next question is whether the two will keep the rest of the path as private as the proposal itself.
