CBS set its fall premiere dates on Monday, lining up new and returning drama, comedy and unscripted series across September and October and giving the season a clear starting gun. The biggest fresh entry on the board is NCIS: New York, which will debut on Tuesday, October 6.
That date lands in the middle of a crowded run of launches that starts with 60 Minutes on Sunday, September 13, then moves through Survivor on September 23, The Amazing Race on September 30 and a cluster of premieres on Sunday, October 4 and Monday, October 5. For viewers following the CBS Fall 2026 TV schedule, the new dates show how tightly the network is spacing its biggest franchises before the season shifts deeper into October.
On Sunday, October 4, Marshals will begin Season 2 and Tracker will begin Season 4. The next night brings FBI for Season 9, CIA for Season 2, Harlan Coben’s Final Twist for Season 2, NCIS for Season 24 and NCIS: Origins for Season 3. Then NCIS: New York takes the Tuesday slot on October 6, before Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Elsbeth, Eternally Yours and Cupertino arrive on Thursday, October 8.
The schedule also shows how CBS is staggering its biggest pieces instead of dropping everything at once. Matlock, Ghosts and Einstein were held for midseason, even as the network locked in a long list of fall dates.
