Netflix said I Will Find You pulled 63.9 million views in the first half of 2026, turning the eight-part Harlan Coben thriller into one of the platform’s biggest hits of the year only 11 days after it premiered on June 19.
The surge is why the series is drawing fresh attention now. Sam Worthington stars as a father wrongly imprisoned for murdering his son, and the show’s reach has put his performance in front of a far larger audience than its mixed reaction might suggest. Netflix also said the title was watched for 350.5 million hours, a pace that puts it behind only His & Hers and Bridgerton Season 4 on the company’s Top 10 TV Shows of 2026 list.
That kind of number matters because it arrived almost immediately after release. By June 30, the first-half reporting window had closed, which means I Will Find You built its total on a very short runway. Nielsen had already logged 1.84 billion minutes of U.S. viewing time for the week of June 15–21, showing that the title had already broken through before Netflix’s own half-year report landed.
The performance is also harder to dismiss because the response was split. The series carries a 62% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a 60% audience score there, and a 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb, numbers that point to a show that drew many viewers without fully winning over reviewers. Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia and Erin Richards also star in the series, which helped extend the cast’s visibility even as the critical reaction stayed mixed.
That mismatch is part of the larger Netflix playbook with Harlan Coben material. I Will Find You follows earlier adaptations such as The Stranger, The Woods and Stay Close, and the latest result reinforces why the company keeps returning to the formula: these titles can travel fast even when they do not land cleanly with critics. Netflix is already moving on to the next Coben project, a new series based on Myron Bolitar, but no release date has been set. Colin Woodell will play Myron Bolitar, with KJ Apa as Win Lockwood and Diane Guerrero as Esperanza Diaz, leaving I Will Find You as the current benchmark for how quickly a Harlan Coben Netflix Series can turn into a platform-wide hit.
