Barcelona Sporting Club has opened ticket sales for its match against Libertad, set for Saturday, July 18 at 19:00 at Estadio Banco Pichincha. Fans can buy through eventum.ec or at physical sales points, while Socios Amarillos who are up to date can get a 50% discount.
The rush to buy is tied to a short sales window. Tickets for socios began on Saturday, July 11 at 09:00, while hinchas were allowed in from Sunday, July 12. Both groups can still buy until Wednesday, July 15 at 19:30, leaving little room before the match that will close out the week.
Barcelona Sporting Club has also spread its sales beyond the digital channel. Physical tickets are available at Pharmacys, Cruz Azul and Comisariato del Constructor locations, giving supporters a few more ways to get in before kickoff. The club has not said how many tickets are available, so demand may be judged only by how fast the sale windows disappear.
The discount comes with a condition that matters at the counter. At physical sales points, the 50% reduction applies only to the titular member who presents a cédula, and purchases cannot be made using third-party credentials. That means the benefit advertised for Socios Amarillos is not automatically transferable to whoever shows up with the card or the number.
The same match also carries a separate press accreditation process, which points to how closely the club is managing access around the fixture. Media General Managers or Sports Directors must register through the link provided by Barcelona Sporting Club, and journalists need a valid 2026 credential from LigaPro, the Círculo de Periodistas Deportivos del Ecuador or the Asociación de Periodistas Deportivos de Pichincha for approval. By the time the club takes the field on Saturday night, the only question left is how many seats will still be open.
