That timing matters because viewers are already searching for what comes next for Jeremy Renner, whose series is already sitting in the Paramount Plus global top 10 while fans wait for more news. The show’s fifth season has been confirmed as the final one, but Renner has refused to treat it that way, keeping a small but telling edge between the official end point and the actor leading it.
Mayor of Kingstown has become one of Taylor Sheridan’s most closely watched crime dramas, and its next move now depends less on production and more on Paramount’s announcement calendar. The company has not set an official return date, which leaves November as the clearest marker available rather than a locked premiere day.
The project’s shape also fits Sheridan’s wider pattern.
