Peacock has set the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion for Monday, August 31, with Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen returning as co-hosts. The special will stream at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT.

That date answers the question fans have been asking since the season wrapped: when is Love Island reunion coming back on screen. This time, Madix and Cohen will gather the season's winners, fan-favorite couples and the bombshells for a follow-up special built around the show's summer run.

Peacock is framing the reunion against a strong performance for the series. The company said Love Island USA ranked as the No. 1 streaming reality title for five consecutive weeks, drew over 30% new viewers in Season 8 and logged nearly 30% of usage on mobile devices. It also said the show has generated more than 4 billion video views across social channels and remains its No. 1 social program since launch.

The timing also keeps the franchise in view after the action in Fiji, where the season played out before the reunion announcement. That makes the special less of an end point than a return visit, one that Peacock can use to keep a summer hit in circulation even as it presents the reunion as a chance to revisit the drama rather than close the book on it.

This is the second consecutive year Cohen has joined Madix on the reunion stage, and the pairing gives Peacock a familiar face-off for a format that depends on sharp questions and unresolved story lines. What still is not clear is which cast members beyond the winners, the fan favorites and the bombshells will show up when the special premieres on August 31.

Love Island USA is produced by ITV America, in association with Lifted Entertainment and Motion Entertainment, a WPP Media Company, and distributed by ITV Studios.
